The apartments are in an elegant Edwardian townhouse in Mayfair. ‘Grand Residences’ guests purchase a membership, giving them access for a set number of nights each year in their apartment. This arrangement offers guests the convenience of a luxury hotel, but with the secluded feel of a second home in one of London’s most exclusive postcodes.
Bringing the Space to Life
The team at 47 Park Street wanted to give potential residents an insight into the apartments remotely. The virtual tour allow users to explore the apartments, getting a feel for the layours, decor and facilities. It allows them to walk through the space at their own pace. Our objective was to create a tour that was easy to use and reflected the quiet luxury of the apartments themselves.
The Approach
When capturing interiors, good lighting that enhances the space is vital. The apartments feature wood panelling, rich textiles, and warm lighting. This combination can be a little tricky to balance in a 360. Too much exposure, and the space loses a natural feel. Too little, and the details can disappear into shadows. Careful attention was given to exposing the highlights while retaining depth, ensuring that each room looked natural and true-to-life.
The shoot was planned to take advantage of natural light at the right times of day. We also worked to ensure that we maintained a consistent look across all areas of the tour. The result is an interactive experience that allows potential guests to appreciate the space – from the layout to the finishes.
